The ACLU wants a witch to pray at a
county council meeting. AND they want
you and me to feel like bigots for opposing them. Let’s stand up to them anyway!
Dear Friend of Freedom,
Our Founding Fathers must be rolling over in
their graves!
It’s bad enough
when the ACLU and other radical secularist organizations sue to prevent
Christian prayers at public meetings.
But now, the ACLU and Americans United for Separation of Church and
State have sued to force
As if this isn’t
mind-boggling enough, one of the lawyers on this case is the same lawyer who sued to prevent Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore
from displaying the Ten Commandments!
So now we see what
it’s all about. It’s not about
protecting minority religions from the “tyranny” of the majority. It’s truly is about stripping the public square of every vestige of our Christian heritage
AND forcing New Age paganism on all of us.
I want to be
honest about this case. Based upon what
the Framers of the Constitution intended, this SHOULD BE an easy case. BUT
based upon the horrible Supreme Court decisions and the radical federal courts,
this WILL BE a very difficult case.
That’s why I need your help today! With your prayers and your financial support,
we will be able to step up to the plate on this critical case.
Sometimes the ACLU
and other radical secularists try to make
us feel like bigots for standing up for what is right. They say that it is wrong for us to claim
that public meetings can start with prayers to God, but not a prayer by a
witch.
But remember, they
want it the exact opposite way -- no Ten Commandments, no acknowledgement of
the God of the Bible, but of course, the
witch should pray!
If they say we are
“wrong,” then they must also be wrong!
But there’s one
big difference -- this country was
founded by Christians, not witches!
It was Christians
who insisted on religious tolerance. But
that principle has been twisted and destroyed
when the religion of those who founded the nation is driven from the public
square and the occult must be accommodated!
We MUST stand up to this assault.
Please let me hear
from you today. Don’t let the ACLU and
Americans United for Separation of Church and State get away with this!
Don’t let them intimidate you into second
guessing what you know is right. It is
NOT bigoted to say “Enough is enough!”
We can’t give
up. No matter how many crazy lawsuits
they throw at us, we simply can’t stop
fighting.
So, please let me
know that I can count on you in this
vital battle. It means so much to me and
to the staff . . . and it could make all the difference!
Thank
you for your faithfulness,
Steven
W. Fitschen
President
P.S. Our brief is due at the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals in just days. Please send your very best gift today! We must not let the ACLU squelch Christianity and force the occult on our nation. Thanks again. |
